Joey's Tools
To help me work effectively with the Debian operating system and within the Debian project I have developed a number of tools. They help me fulfil various tasks with minimal time used.
On the following pages I will give a short overview and point to the source, which is mostly hosted in a CVS repository.
findpkg
This program is nothing but a wrapper around zgrep and
wget. However it helps a lot with locating files within
packages. Infodrom has a more detailed description. There's a version for local use on debian.org hosts
as well.
